Ray Holden established Holden Accountants in 2005 by the merger of two long established accounting practices being Ted Brindal & Associates and Baines & Associates. Both practices had been operating for over 40 years each. Since then Ray and the team at Holden Accountants have incorporated several other small practices.
Holden Accountants have been helping people with their unique and caring approach to accounting and business services since inception. Ray and his team are convinced that working as accountants should be more than just number crunching and all about engaging with every client on a personal level. Ray Holden graduated from university with a Double Major in Accounting and Computing in 1988. Following graduation Ray joined Price Waterhouse working in the audit division on a diverse range of clients, and was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Australia in 1992.
Ray gained commercial experience as a Financial Controller/Group Accountant for privately owned diverse companies.
In 1994 he joined Baines & Associates as a principal. In 2005 Ray merged Baines & Associates and Ted Brindal & Associates to become Holden Accountants. He has since also formed an aliance with Integro Private Financial Consulting to offer his clients a more wholistic and cost effective approach to helping you achieve your financial goals.
Mark Lucas Senior Accountant – B.Com CA
Mark Lucas holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Mark has been in public practice for the vast majority of his time as an accountant since he graduated from UWA in 1988. He ran his own practice for approximately 10 years prior to joining Holden Accountants in 2010.
Having a broad range of experience across a range of business and personal tax matters, Mark provides his clients with sound practical advice.
Mark is happily married, has three teenage children, and for recreation enjoys his time playing social cricket and tennis.
Tristan Holden Senior Accountant – B.Com CA
Tristan Holden graduated from Curtin University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Business Law. In 2011, Tristan joined Holden Accountants as part of its graduate program. Tristan finished his Chartered Accountants (CA) accreditation in 2015.
Kyle Holden Accountant B.Bus
Kyle Holden graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and Sports Science. In 2013, Kyle joined Holden Accountants as part of its graduate program. Kyle obtained his Chartered Accountants (CA) accreditation in 2017.
